OpenAI is preparing to step beyond software and into the world of consumer electronics, with reports suggesting its first hardware product will be a smart speaker equipped with a built-in camera and advanced AI capabilities.
According to details circulating in industry reports, the upcoming ChatGPT-powered device is expected to retail between $200 and $300. Unlike traditional smart speakers, this gadget would reportedly be able to visually recognize objects on a nearby surface and understand conversations happening around it.
